In the middle of the 19th century, a religious man from Andagoia was doing priestly work in Chile. When he decides to return to his homeland, he orders a house to be built in his hometown, serving as local parish priest ever since. Upon his death he ordered that the house continue to be a priestly house and therefore it remains at the disposal of the Bishopric of Vitoria with the express condition that Andagoia has a priest permanently settled in the town. In the middle of the 20th century, his last wish no longer being fulfilled, the house returned to his family until 1998, when the house was sold to its current owner. In 2004, a remodeling was completed in which an attempt was made to maintain the essence of the house as much as possible, with most of the structural elements that we find today being the originals from nearly 200 years ago.
